Kids at St John’s

Children are so important to us at St John’s! We fully embrace all children into our church community helping to teach, grow, and nurture them to become lifelong followers of Jesus, as well as help them to know that they are loved and cherished by God. We want kids to encounter God, give expression to their worship, be taught the story of God, and discover their part in it.

Sundays

Visiting for the first time?

Firstly, you are so welcome, and we can’t wait to meet you!

Our kids groups run every Sunday at our 10.00 gathering (apart from when we have an all age gathering). When you arrive at church, children are checked in by our Child Check-In Team (open from 09.15 - 10.00). If it’s your first time we will just need a few details from you about your child so that we can register them for their group. Children then head straight into their groups to begin their worship and teaching. Our welcome team will be at the entrance to greet you on Sunday and can help direct you to the right place!

If you would like more information email Diana, our Children’s Pastor, at dianahopkins@stjohnsharborne.org

Who & Where?

Kids groups run for children ages 0 - 11.
If you aren’t sure where to go please just ask one of our welcome or children’s team members.

Safeguarding

We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of all children and young people. All our leaders and volunteers are checked in line with current DBS guidelines and act according to our safeguarding policy. St John’s requires that parents of all children attending one of our activities has a completed and returned a signed consent form. Read more about safeguarding at St John’s, or email Ruth Bio on safeguarding@stjohnsharborne.org for more information.
