A Midweek Service of carols, readings and reflections, lasting for about 45 mins, followed by festive refreshments. This service is particularly suitable for older people.

All Age Carols

Our All Age carol service is a Christmas celebration for any age! Accessible and interactive, there will be drama, story-telling and of course our favourite carols. Pull on your Christmas jumper and bring some friends! Followed by festive refreshments.

Christingles

Tue 24 Dec • 3pm & 4.30pm • St John’s
Come and join us as we sing carols (accompanied by St John’s Orchestra) and explore the Christmas story. Children are invited to dress as a character from the Nativity Story.

Carols on the High St.

Sat 14 Dec • 3pm • Harborne High Street (Outside Boots)
Join us for some carolling on Harborne High Street! Help spread some festive cheer to the local community and Christmas shoppers of Harborne. Everyone welcome.

Evening Carols

Sun 22 Dec • 5pm & 7pm* • St John’s
Get in the mood for Christmas by coming to our annual Evening Carols. There is loads to look forward to - a mixture of carols, readings, performance and a short talk. This will be a great evening, not to be missed, make sure to invite your friends! Followed by festive refreshments.
*This service will be live streamed on our YouTube Channel.

Christmas Day Celebration

Wed 25 Dec • 10am (Followed by Holy Communion at 11.15am) • St John’s
Come along and celebrate Christmas Day together at our all-age celebration! We will be singing carols, having fun and celebrating the birth of Jesus. Everyone is welcome. Followed by a short Holy Communion service at 11.15am.

Our Christmas collection this year will go to support the work of two local charities, Restore Birmingham and Birmingham City Mission. All financial donations given at our Carols & Christingle services and online will support the work of these important charities.

Unless otherwise stated all events are free and will take place at St John’s Harborne, High Street, Harborne, B17 9PT.
Parking is available on local streets, onsite parking reserved for those with mobility issues.

All Age Sunday Gathering
