Can you welcome a student into your life? We'd love households to volunteer to our adopt a student scheme in which we'll pair a student to your household.
Who can volunteer?
Anyone in the church! If your household is willing to host a student, then we'd love to have you.
How often will I have to host?
This is completely up to you and the student you get matched with. We only ask that you make it regular enough that the student feels welcomed to Birmingham and to St John's.
What about Covid-9 restrictions?
We think it's really important that we stick to the current rules about social distancing. Even with the current local lockdown, we can still meet in parks, cafes and restaurants as well as on Zoom. We would encourage you to meet in person because we all know how tiring Zoom can be, but please don't do anything you feel uncomfortable doing.
