A heartening story
This week we had a heartening story of someone going that extra mile.
We applied to the Harborne Parish Lands Trust for a debt client who desperately needed a tumble drier. The trust sent out an officer to interview the applicant in her home. He first started by saying that they normally don’t provide tumble driers but, after hearing the full circumstances, he offered not only a tumble dryer but a replacement washing machine, a waterproof mattress and a complete set of bedding.
