This service is perfect for all ages! It’s a great way to get excited for Christmas, with lots of carols and a chance to hear a little bit more about the Christmas story. There will be an opportunity to light a Christingle as part of the service, so make sure to make yours in advance. Why not get dressed up as your favourite nativity character as you join in the fun from home! Everyone welcome. (Countdown from 15.50).

Join us for an Advent Adventure! We know that you might be missing our Christmas Tour this year – well, there is no need! We’ve put our heads together with other churches around Birmingham to come up with an online alternative! Come and meet some of the characters from the very first Christmas and find out why the birth of Jesus is Good News for everyone! Put your sleuthing hats on, you’ll need to download the activity pack that will help you collect information and make your own Christmas decoration.

Join us for an hour as part of our Week of Prayer. The families and children’s hour will be a packed hour of intercession for all ages, especially suitable for families with young children. Discover new ways to engage with prayer.

We are excited to announce that our Carols & Christingles service will be held at Edgbaston Cricket Ground this year. This service is perfect for families. We will be giving out Christingles as well as hearing a little bit more about the Christmas story. Kids are welcome to come dressed as their favourite nativity character if they want to! Bring the whole family.

You are invited to our joint St John's & Oasis Church Light Party!!
This October we will be having a Light Party. There will be bible stories, crafts, music, games, and lots of fun! Dress code (optional) : brightest and sparkliest clothes.
Open to all who are current Year 1 - Year 6.
A cold buffet will be provided for kids.
There is a cost of £1 per child.
There will also be Parents' Café for those who wish to wait.
This Sunday 8 Sept our children’s and youth groups resume. With the move to Lordswood Girls’ School, our groups will meet at 16.00. Kids will go straight into their groups after checking in.

This summer... blast off with us 'out of this world' at St John's Holiday Club 2019. There will be lots of songs, bible stories, crafts, games, drama, friendship and fun!
Holiday Club is open to all who are current Reception to Year 6, and provides an opportunity to explore faith in a safe, informal environment. Refreshments will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
25 -27 July | 10.00 - 14.00 | St John’s | £3 per child, per day.
