“For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed…”
Paul is talking here about our actual human bodies, but I feel this verse is relevant for us as a church (the body of Christ) at this exciting time. Our home has been knocked down, so let us now earnestly pray that we will let ourselves be re-built by heavenly hands, to not just expect a new comfortable house built by human hands, but rather to wholeheartedly seek the Kingdom of God, allowing us to be rebuilt for the glory of Jesus and to make his name known.
